Transcendence

So, some familiar faces and plot that moves right along, however predictably. Once you've seen the preview you know the story. Basically Johnny Depp will go to great lengths to take roles that play down (way down) his good looks and this one is no exception.
Odd little sci-fi film that never really took off, all told in flashback and with a maybe-this-continues type of ending that is otherwise indecipherable.
Made the mistake of ending up at the XD theater, completely unnecessary however I wish all theaters had those plush leather chairs and ultra a/c. I think there were 2 other couples in the theater for the sunday morning matinee.
Morgan Freeman must be very well off. I wonder why he doesn't retire already.
