The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

My conclusion here is that Ben Stiller is better when he's being funny. In dramatic roles his idea of drama is to maintain a sober, non-emotive, frozen look on his face and then, as director, hold the camera on his own face for as long as possible in hopes, I can only suspect, of imbuing emotional value where there really is none.
After this weekend's film and last weekend's film (Lone Survivor) I'm ready for some female leads please. Geez.
The shooting in Iceland and Greenland was wonderful but not enough. Very slow start. The Danny Kaye original must have been better.
