Saw this a couple weeks ago. Quiet, smaller film, but Bale is wonderful here, also Casey Affleck. Out of place: Forrest Whittaker and Zoe Saldanna. Otherwise, emotional, evocative, looked like what I remember of West Virginia, smokey / hazey mountain villages, old, run down homes, just this side of poverty.
