Finishing Heaven ~ 2008, doc on HBO

Have to wonder if this little doc would have been made without the references to Marty Scorcesse and Warhol. The world, surely, is full of half-baked artists, who, if only, may have done big, wonderful things. This guy has carried around a ton of 16mm canesters from New York to Italy to San Francisco until somebody somewhere decided it was good enough fodder for its own little film. Moral of the story: everbody goes back to their day jobs after this one, no fairy tale ending, no cinderella story. If you're gonna do it, do it already and get on with your life, imo.
