Shaun of the Dead

2004. Co-written by its star Simon Pegg. An instant classic. Remade the zombie horror film for the 21st century. Although never quite as good as the first time you watch it, the humor holds up even when you know what's coming. Pegg and Frost went on to make Hot Fuzz, also hilarious and irreverent. Silly fun as well as a clever commentary about 21st century living. Gotta see it.
