How The West Was Won

First western I ever saw. 1962. in Cinemascope. The vistas were huge and I cried when Debbie Reynolds sang Shenondoah to her grandchildren. Sung to the melody of Greensleeves.
"Alas my love, you do me wrong, to cast me aside so discourtiously. For I have loved you so long, delighting in your company."

Told in several different sections, each section directed by a different great director including John Ford.
